Job Abstract

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Scientist II, Chemistry in Mountain View, CA to contribute to drug discovery by synthesizing small molecules in support of lead optimization programs. Initiate and execute synthetic organic chemistry experiments and participate in patent applications. May work remotely 0-1 days per week within normal commuting distance of Mountain View, CA.

Requirements:

PhD in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry or a related field, including coursework and research in organic chemistry, planning multi-step synthetic protocols and transition metal catalysis.
