SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented eCommerce Wave Planner to join the team at the Omni Fulfillment Center (OFC). The ideal candidate will have a background in eCommerce fulfillment operations and experience with warehouse management systems. The primary focus of this role is to drive wave planning and operational efficiency by optimizing building throughput and activity area rates within the fulfillment center. To ensure that we are providing the best possible customer service, you will be responsible for allocating orders, releasing work to the warehouse floor, balancing workflow, and ensuring that outbound are accurate. Your leadership will drive the success of our relationship with customers, and the efficiency of the operations. JOB DUTIES

• Wave Management:
  • Manage wave planning and execution processes to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Release work to the work queue in a manner that ensures maximum levels of interleaving, productivity, and Customer turn times.
  • Monitors exceptions that prevent waves from releasing and or from fully completing by coordinating with another department supervisors.

• Order Management:
  • Effectively manage the waving of the aged orders and prioritize the fulfillment of high-priority orders to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Produces various management reports on a daily and weekly basis using Microsoft Excel and coordinates with the different departments for any exception or special orders are being handled properly.
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate operations activities and processes to promote compliance with customers SLA and customer satisfaction.

• End-to-End Throughput Analysis:
  • Balancing the waves and workload across different areas of the fulfillment center to ensure work is distributed and putwall flow is balanced.

• Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor real-time performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in building throughput and order management processes.
  • Use warehouse management system and strategic planning to ensure that forecasts are being met, and that there is adequate KPIs in place.
  • Researching discrepancies and collaborating with the appropriate areas to understand the priorities and the workflow.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stand or walk on concrete for 8-12 hours per day

• Operate a computer or other office machinery such as a printer

• Sit, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull and twist

• Lift and move 65 lbs. unassisted and 75 lbs. assisted

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Minimum: 3-5 years of logistics & supply chain experience in a high-volume fulfillment center environment

Experience Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce fulfillment operations in a high-volume distribution center environment with 2-3 years' experience working with a Warehouse Management Systems interfacing pick cycles and creating system reporting.
