Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Airworthiness Engineer to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce and update Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) and Naval Aviation Technical Information Product (NATIP) manuals.
Liaison with Tactical Aviation Program Offices and production staff on flight clearance document production
Work with various testing labs that influence tactical aviation system software updates.
Collaborate with the Weaponizing and Stores Planning (WASP) software team to ensure NATIP data integrity.
Manage multiple document updates that include collaboration with multiple competencies, subject matter experts of multiple engineering disciplines and publication production staff.
Conduct and run both informal and formal technical exchange meetings to include official Planning Meetings for safety-of-flight NATIP chapter updates.
Establish and enforce documentation publication standards for common components shared between aviation platforms.
Facilitate and assist with review of technical data from various review boards and working groups.
Incorporate Interactive Modules into NATIP chapters.
Exercise and enforce customer provided processes for efficient and effective production and updates to operational procedures and manuals.
Manage an agile integrated product team to ensure customer requirements are met and processes are followed.
Basic Qualifications:
Engineering experience working with NAVAIR program offices, engineering disciplines, competencies, or the NAVAIR Airworthiness and CYBERSAFE (ACO).
3+ years of experience managing military aircraft flight publications or similar engineering support of aircraft design, testing, or operations
BS/BA degree in Engineering or Software discipline
