Job Description:
The Payments Planning & Analysis Team supports the Payments organization and plays a critical role in the infrastructure and capabilities that enable payments solutions for our clients globally. The team is engaged in both supporting day-to-day business objectives, as well as shaping the strategic vision of the business, working with a wide range of product teams (Treasury Services, Merchant Services, Trade & Working Capital, etc.) and functional partners (CIB P&A, Business Managers, Controllers, Technology, Operations, etc.).
This is a highly visible role across the Payments organization with exposure to the CEO and CFO of the business and requires the candidate to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders and senior business leads. We are looking for a candidate who has substantial experience in Planning &Analysis that can manage critical deliverables in a fast-paced environment, collaborate and lead a diverse set of stakeholders, think strategically, and communicate in a concise and thoughtful manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the consolidation team in end-to-end ownership of major quarterly deliverables for JPM Payments such as earnings and business reviews, including coordinating with multiple business partners and presenting results to senior management
- Collaborate with Payments Strategy team on critical presentations and projects such as Investor Day, annual Board reviews and senior management offsites
- Consolidate and analyze financial results and communicate to business leads in ways that allow for actionable insights that can impact business performance (e.g. budget reviews)
- Assist in digital transformation agenda - create self-serve interactive financial dashboards
- Strong acumen in financial analysis including exceptional attention to details and ability to provide accurate, timely and insightful data & analysis
- Strategic thinker with the ability to gather and synthesize financial information into concise and thoughtful recommendations
- Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability interact and present to senior levels of the organization
- Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data and data analytics tools preferred
- Ability to work cross-functionally and ability to prioritize multiple competing deliverables under pressure
- Strong team leadership skills with proven experience in team management
- Produce monthly financial Executive Management Reports (EMRs) by coordinating with other P&A teams
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 15+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or Strategy
- Experience in Planning & Analysis and Financial Services industry strongly preferred
