Wilson Sportswear is a newly formed division of Wilson Sporting Goods, the number one brand in the sporting goods industry, with a mission to create beautiful, functional apparel for young athletic men and women.

The Merchandising Operations Specialist, Sportswear will be an integral part of the Product Team, working to establish and build the global business in the US, EMEA and APAC.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and will possess exceptional communication skills. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Development Calendar Management: Manage and maintain the development calendar and go-to-market (GTM) process.
• System Workflow Execution: Lead the team in the workflow and execution in SAP, PIM, and Centric systems.
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Project Management: Lead the development and implementation of merchandising SOPs, manage projects, and assist in new systems implementation.
• Product information management: Aggregate and communicate key product details to influence product copy and education materials.
• Product Launch Support: Support product launch initiatives by building and maintaining launch trackers, managing ecomm requests, and ensuring timely issuing of POs.
• Merchandising communications: Lead communications to regional merchants, brand stores, ecommerce, and wholesale channels, providing key product information and education to ensure consistent and accurate sharing of details.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or fashion merchandising, 3-5 years expereince in fashion merchandising and requires strong organizational and project management skills.

Other qualifications include:

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
• Familiarity with building workflow streams in MS Teams
• Familiarity with SAP, PIM, and Centric systems is a plus
• Effective organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Previous experience in the athleisure industry preferred.
• Great product instincts – an understanding of sports, culture, and fashion and how they shape the lifestyle and clothing choices of young athletic men and women.
• Analytical thinking – a balance of both qualitative and quantitative skills
• Entrepreneurship – ability to work effectively in a fluid environment and willingness to wear multiple hats, as necessary.
• Resourcefulness – self-directed and scrappy
• Collaboration – demonstrated skill in building cross-functional and cross-cultural/international relationships
• Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply sound business decisions to growing a global business.

Compensation: $75K-85k + 5% bonus opportunity
