This position will design, install, operate, secure, and maintain dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure that is required to deliver products to our customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead Information Technology projects that provide dedicated program infrastructure
Work directly with programs to ensure Information Technology infrastructure solutions meet the program requirements and schedules
Perform a multi-disciplined range of technical systems and application activities
Design, install, configure, troubleshoot and provide maintenance of systems hardware, software and components
Ensure Information Technology infrastructure conforms with standard architectural objectives
Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
Determine and develop approaches to solutions
Receive general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects
Interact frequently with inter-organizational personnel and external customers
Represent the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)
5+ years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2022, Windows 10)
5+ years of experience with operating system (Windows and/or Linux) installation, setup, and basic troubleshooting
5+ years of experience in troubleshooting servers, data storage devices, Oracle databases, and laboratory network
5+ years of experience in configuring network storage systems
Ability to obtain Counter Intelligence Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active Counter Intelligence Polygraph
3+ years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support
3+ years of experience with maintaining/configuring AD to include applying domain group policies
3+ years of experience with PowerShell and Linux scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets
3+ years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems
3+ years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware
3+ years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolution
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)
