The Commercial Product Leader is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and management of our suite of commercial insurance products. This role involves a deep understanding of the commercial insurance market, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. The leader will be accountable for the profitability, growth, and overall performance of the commercial lines, driving innovation while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the strategic vision for the commercial insurance product lines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from inception to market launch and beyond, including product design, underwriting criteria, pricing strategy, and distribution.
- Lead market research to identify customer needs and market trends, incorporating insights into product development to ensure competitive offerings.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and underwriting teams to effectively position products in the market, ensuring clear communication of value propositions.
- Manage and optimize product portfolio performance, including profitability analysis and portfolio management.
- Foster relationships with key industry players, including brokers and commercial clients, to ensure product offerings meet the market's needs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and work with legal and compliance teams to navigate the complex regulatory landscape of commercial insurance.
Annual Salary
$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
