VCA Orange County Veterinary Hospital is looking for a part-time Kennel Services Attendant to join our team in our boarding facility. We are looking for a candidate who is reliable, attentive to detail, and provides compassionate care to our boarding pets. Experience working with animals in a professional setting is a plus. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
VCA Orange County Veterinary Hospital is a general practice animal hospital with two full-time, and two part time doctors. Main duties are as follows:
Feeding pets and making sure they have ample water
Administering medication
Bathing
Toenail trims
Reporting any symptoms to the hospital veterinarian
Practicing proper restraint and safety techniques
Cleaning of kennels and indoor runs
Detailing of kennel wards, indoor runs, and hallways
Restocking
Frequent bending
Lifting items up to 40 lbs.
Complying with OSHA cleaning and sanitation regulations
Laundry

Compensation: $16.77 - $17/hour. Pay dependent on experience.
