Role and Responsibilities
The Sr. Manager, Strategy & Operations is responsible for the management of Display presentation communication to internal executives and external customers. They will operate as the lead in gathering strategy, targets and customer feedback from Product Management, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Executive Leadership. The expectation is this person will act as an extension of the Head of Display in preparing and building out master plans for key stakeholders and will be able to expand their abilities to present the materials.
Executive presentation PowerPoint build, including gathering information from all relevant stakeholders and consistent post-meeting deliverable tracking
Develop expertise in macroeconomic variables that help Samsung Display build our strategies to win market share at a high rate across all categories
Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics, and implement changes to the channel sales strategy as needed to maintain Samsung's market leadership position
Develop and execute short and long-term strategic plans in alignment with Display Leadership goals and priorities for moving the business forward
Project manages strategic initiatives or taskforces prioritized by Display Leadership
Own and build our Display quarterly All Hands meeting materials
Formulate and manage the budget and usage of external data & SaaS vendors (ex: Omdia)
Help to determine appropriate channel partnerships to ensure team exceeds annual and quarterly IT Channel MP/SP sales targets
Drive the business forward and deliver an increase in market share, increase in revenue, and other specified results
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of directly related to strategy & operations
Prior experience developing strategy for a global brand
Extensive experience presenting to top executives
Proven ability to gather information across many different areas of the business
Understanding of solution selling – specifically around Display hardware and software
Strong track record of collaboration and reporting directly to executives
Must have demonstrated project and program management skills
Strong public speaking skills including confidence and ability to memorize materials
