This role provides the leadership, direction, administration and coordination of all practice activities except those directly involving professional medical judgment. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to administrative and clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization to ensure efficient practice operations and maximize patient satisfaction.
Manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, coding, revenue cycle management, and payroll to support the financial health of the practice.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, uphold standards of care, and meet the practice mission.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and resources.
Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess practice performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to ensure alignment with practice goals and values.
Serve as a liaison between the practice and external organizations, such as insurance companies, hospitals, and community agencies.
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues and maintain patient satisfaction.
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to pediatric healthcare administration.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience directly managing people and business operations preferably in a healthcare setting. Experience in pediatric practice management is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve organizational goals.
Proficiency in practice management and electronic health record (EHR) systems, and Microsoft 365 applications. Experience with eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
Bookkeeping skills highly desirable, but not required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and billing practices.
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a patient-centered approach.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
