Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (6 months)

Location: Sylmar, CA 91342

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3RD SHIFT (9*80 schedule)

• Sunday: 8 PM - Monday: 5:30 AM

• Monday: 11 PM - Tuesday: 8:30 AM

• Tuesday: 11 PM - Wednesday: 8:30 AM

• Wednesday: 11 PM - Thursday: 8:30 AM

• Thursday: 11 PM - Friday

Pay Rate: $23.80 - $33.38 per hour

Job Overview

As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining factory machinery in Sylmar, CA. Your expertise in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics will be essential for troubleshooting and repairing equipment. You'll also interpret blueprints and schematics to perform various maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Repair & Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Preventative Maintenance: Execute and manage preventative maintenance plans.

• Troubleshooting: Conduct complex troubleshooting, analysis, inspections, disassembly, rebuilds, modifications, and testing of factory machinery.

• Electrical Systems: Work with electrical systems and electronic components according to manuals and specifications.

• Interpretation: Read and interpret schematics and diagrams.

Skill Requirements

Must-Have:

• Proven experience in repairing and maintaining equipment.

• Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Ability to execute preventative maintenance plans.

• Proficient in complex troubleshooting and analysis.

• Familiarity with electrical systems and components.

• Ability to interpret schematics and diagrams.

Preferred:

• Experience with hazardous materials.

• Experience in vacuum system maintenance.

• Electrical knowledge and component-level diagnostics.

• Experience with industrial equipment maintenance or repair (e.g., semiconductor processing).

• Capability to maintain periodic maintenance programs in a production environment.

Pay Details: $23.80 to $33.38 per hour
