The Research Associate will conduct research in arboviral pathogenesis and treatment. They will actively contribute to the design, conduct, interpretation and analysis of experiments and experimental data. This research involves in-vitro, in-vivo studies and clinical trials.
This position independently carries out research/development activities by designing and conducting experiments in a controlled laboratory setting, under general guidance from the Principal Investigator. Using a certain degree of creativity and latitude, the core responsibilities of this position include making detailed observations, analyzing data, and interpreting results. This position compiles results and prepares technical reports and documentation of outcomes. This role is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Working under general supervision, this position typically reports to a Principal Investigator.
The following is a non-inclusive list of responsibilities of this position:
Manage clinical trial database.
Analyze clinical trial safety and quality information including hands-on procedures in the laboratory for protein detection.
Contribute as a team member to maintenance and efficient running of the laboratory and Colombian clinical site.
Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a master’s degree and 1 year of experience in a related discipline. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.

$53,853.78 - $75,348.30
