As a Senior Manager – Insurance Systems Integration, you will act in several key roles that are critical to grow a world-class systems integration practice.
As an engagement manager and account leader, you are responsible for managing executive client relationships: business and IT project sponsors, steering committee members, client program manager, and software provider account owners/customer success executives. You will develop and leverage client relationships to enable collaborative problem solving and issue resolution for the most critical project issues, to handle escalations, and to identify new sales opportunities across the account.
As a project delivery leader, you will ultimately be responsible for the successful delivery of projects and will be aware of daily details such as immediate goals and milestones, progress against plan, issues and dependencies, mitigating actions to stay on schedule and budget, and preparation for next project phase. You will present status to client leadership in addition to managing a cross-functional project team consisting of Andersen Consulting, client, and 3rd party resources, both on and off shore. You will lead by example and generate high performance from the delivery team, motivating all members to go above and beyond to successfully deliver each project.
As a practice builder, you will hire team members; grow and mentor individuals; help manage project assignments to ensure individual growth, project success, and practice utilization; conduct performance reviews and participate in promotion decisions; and lead development of practice processes, methodologies, standards, and assets. You will support creation of market-facing materials, such as research pieces, white papers, and points of view to market our capabilities and create demand for our services. You will participate in marketing campaigns and go-to-market activities. You will collaborate with other Andersen Consulting practices and Andersen service lines to generate opportunities and create joint materials and offerings.
As a pursuit leader, you will work closely with partners to craft the overall win themes and proposal; creatively shape deals, staffing models, and pricing; create proposed project schedules with detailed phases, tasks and deliverables; and coordinate with 3rd parties and software alliances to maximize outcomes. You will confidently present proposals to client decision makers.
As an alliance leader, you will work closely with partners to establish and grow formal relationships with software providers to establish Andersen Consulting’s delivery capabilities, to uncover new opportunities that benefit both Andersen Consulting and the alliance partner, and to successfully win implementation projects.
