The DOS CMMS is a centralized asset inventory management system, customized to meet business needs for management of warehouse, asset maintenance, supply chain, accounting, business reporting, mobile capabilities, and work orders.
Collaborates with DS/CTO and/or IRM for development and production system hosting services.
Collaborates with other ST offices for user requirement intake, Information Assurance assessments, and operational support. ST’s enterprise asset management IT application is deployed to all sections of the ST office, both overseas and domestically.
Collaborates with DS/CTO and/or IRM for development and production system hosting services.
CMMS services include complete inventory, purchasing, invoicing and work order accounting systems with advanced reporting metric capabilities.
Based on IBM’s Maximo® asset management software, customized to support and enhance ST work processes and comply with Federal laws for asset accountability and management.
Other software used includes Maximo Workflows; Maximo Cron Tasks; Maximo Application Designer; Maximo Integration Framework; TRM’s Rules Manager software suite; MS Power BI 2.x; Maximo Mobile; EzMax mobile; and Cognos 11.X or higher reporting.
CMMS has over 1500 users across the globe in over 253 separate foreign and 39 domestic locations.
Web-based, IBM WebSphere version 9.0.5.16 and runs off Oracle 13c and includes an OSLC (Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration) API adapter that can be used when integrating with other enterprise systems.

Capable of automatically generating purchase requests for resupplying fixed and mobile storerooms.
Select CMMS users can also enter work orders and perform inventory functions via portable Motorola Mobile devices and government issued smartphones. Zebra TC72 is the current mobile device with approximately 900 deployed to field users and are Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
The TC72s are deployed with SMART Work Manager which is used as a broker from the mobile device to central Maximo. Agentry and EzMaxMobile are other supported mobile applications that may be installed on either Zebra TC72 or other GFE Mobile equipment (iOS) to enable users’ mobile capabilities into CMMS Maximo expanding the use of CMMS by adding a classified instance, supplying mobile computers to domestic and overseas users, and continuously updating CMMS and other software suites, which support ST.
