Lobby Receptionist - Per Diem Evening

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assisting with screening employees, providers, patients, visitors, and vendors for elevated temperatures and symptoms to promote health and wellness within the Valley Health System. Orchestrating the deployment and post Go-Live support of the thermal temperature kiosks throughout the Valley Health System to meet the CDC requirements for temperature and symptom monitoring. Operating a laptop and thermal scanner/tablet to enroll new employees into the facial recognition aspect in order to utilize the thermal temperature kiosks. Educate end users on proper technique for using the kiosks to ensure proper documentation. This position would report directly to the Director of Security.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of formal business/medical training preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
Previous comparable experience in an acute care setting preferred. Computer experience required. Previous customer service experience preferred.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with employees, providers, patients, visitors, and vendors. Effective critical thinking, decision-making, and problem solving skills to navigate temperatures and/or symptoms that are positive. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
