Laboratory Assistant- Part Time
Woodbridge, Connecticut

Work Schedule:

• 1pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Overview:
The Lab Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the lab environment, including glassware, equipment, and overall lab space.
Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain cleanliness of the R&D lab area.
  

• Clean and sterilize glassware and laboratory equipment.
  

• Dispose of chemical waste following safety protocols and guidelines.
  

• Assist in receiving and organizing laboratory supplies and materials.
  

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  

• Support ongoing projects by preparing materials and assisting lab personnel as needed.
  

• Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Degree in science-related program is a plus.
  

• Prior experience in a laboratory setting or knowledge of lab procedures preferred.
  

• Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and techniques.
  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  

• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Reporting:
This position reports to the Manager of QC & Analytical Chemistry, who will provide guidance and supervision as needed.
