As a member of the Gift and Records Services team, the Information Processor plays a crucial role in ensuring that the Office of Development is processing revenue and providing related services to our constituents in a timely and accurate manner. This position creates and updates a variety of information on Yale University’s fundraising and constituent relationship management (CRM) database for alumni, donors and other constituents.
Key duties and responsibilities include: In accordance with university policies and procedures, perform data entry for gift and biographical information on all constituent types within the fundraising CRM database. Read, interpret and verify the gift and biographical information supplied from different source documentation and confirm identities of entities. Search database as necessary to associate accurately each gift or biographical piece of information with the appropriate entity. Process gifts received from multiple channels, including checks, credit cards, and other electronic file downloads or transfers daily for batch entry with Workday financials in the CRM. Scan and index back up documentation for financial transactions and biographical updates Perform research as needed to complete the processing and accuracy of the gifts in a timely manner. Provide customer service and troubleshoot various inquiries and other issues as necessary. Comply with security policies regarding confidentiality of all donor information. Back up for onsite processing of manual credit card authorizations, matching gift and cash wire entry. Serve as a point of contact with other Alumni Affairs and Development units for various inquiries related to processing of constituent biographical or financial information updates and procedures.

Coordinates travel arrangements. Establishes and maintains filing systems. Sorts screens and distributes mail. Completes forms. 7. Orders and maintains inventory of supplies. Photocopies material. Oversees and instructs support staff. Performs additional functions incidental to office activities. 8. May perform other duties as assigned. Four years of related work experience, two of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and a high school level education; or two years of related work experience and an Associate's degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
