About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Operations Engineer to be part of the Chief Technology Office (CTO) Platform Services team. Enterprise Pipeline (EPL) Platform Services team has key responsibilities for the Enterprise Pipeline across all applications in the Wells Fargo Enterprise. Our strategy focuses on building a fully automated (build, deploy, and test), end-to-end pipeline that includes a community driven inner source model, establishes self-service onboarding capabilities, and integrates software development lifecycle and segregation of duties controls. This Lead Systems Operation Engineer role within EPL Platform services team will be a full stack SME to work across all EPL tools to identify and implement solutions that advance our strategy. As a technical lead, they will also collaborate with Wells Fargo Technology teams that use the EPL, product owners and engineering partners to assess product gaps and ensure identification and delivery of product offerings that achieve desired business value and key outcomes and enable continued adoption of the EPL. With expertise in site reliability engineering, they will analyze the EPL and own and implement appropriate practices and solutions to continuously improve the reliability of the EPL.
In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within EPL tools and technologies.
Act as the EPL subject matter expert within the organization with clear in-depth technical understanding of all features, functionality, and industry trends.
Contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks and drive towards automations.
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution and preventive measures.
Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards.
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Required Qualifications, US:
5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
5+ years of experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins, UDeploy (Urbancode Deploy)
3+ Years of Scanning tools such as SonarQube, Blackduck and Checkmarx
2+ years of SRE experience in developing automated solutions for operational aspects in an organization.
3+ years of experience in application monitoring, performance management, analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working with GitHub Actions/GitLabs/Harness / Artifactory.
2+ years of experience in two or more of the following tenets - Observability, Automation, Reliability, Resiliency, Scalability, Configuration Management & Actionable, Data Driven insights.
2+ years of Engineering and support experience of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
4+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies/Kubernetes/Containers
4+ years of experience installing software on Unix servers.
3+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology
3+ years of experience with standard industry standard performance tools and process.
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
