QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree;
- Five (5) years professional experience;
- Three (3) years’ experience in program management;
- Demonstrated experience organizing multifaceted projects;
- Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving ability;
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Ability to function in diplomatic and developing country environments; and
- Ability to receive and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years experience in overseas program management;
- Demonstrated ability to manage contracts and personnel;
- Experience with peacekeeping and/or criminal justice sector reform; and
- Knowledge of theory-of-change and Department of State program design per 18 FAM

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is self-managed and works at the direction of the government and is directly related to the business operation supporting the customer’s objectives.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
