Job Description:Senior Developer with expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
We are seeking a skilled Senior Developer to provide essential support for the ongoing operations of the VBA Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the EDW, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize its functionality.
Responsibilities
Install, upgrade, and configure business intelligence and OBIEE tools to support organizational needs.
Work on complex data structures, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Develop and design data modeling concepts using OBIEE tools to optimize data retrieval and analysis.
Create enterprise dashboards and reports using OBIEE Plus tools to visualize key performance indicators and trends.
Provide recommendations and identify critical issues and processing faults to optimize BI products and enhance performance.
Conduct testing sessions for reports and dashboards, and resolve process issues to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another relevant technical discipline and 8 years of relevant experience (another 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
10 years of experience in ORACLE BI reporting products, with a strong emphasis on OBIEE and data warehousing BI solutions.
Demonstrated expertise in cloud migration as it pertains to Oracle databases and BI tools.
Proven track record of success in developing and implementing OBIEE solutions in a complex environment.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and business intelligence best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in OBIEE or related business intelligence technologies.
Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
