Catholic Charities, is seeking mission-driven candidates to join our Help Me Grow Program as a Home Visitor. In this role you will work with pregnant mothers, caregivers and their children to promote healthy child development and positive interactions between mother/caregiver and child. This position is responsible for engaging families who have been referred to the program; completing virtual and home visits, develop goals, conduct screenings/assessments, facilitate parenting education activities and making referrals to community resources.
Qualified candidates must have at least an Associate's Degree in Human Services (early childhood, social work, psychology, etc.)and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Program Statement:
Cuyahoga County Help Me Grow Home Visiting Program is a voluntary program that gives pregnant women and families the necessary resources and skills to raise children who are physically, socially, and emotionally healthy to learn. The goals of the program are to:
1. Improve maternal and child health.
2. Prevent child abuse and neglect.
3. Encourage positive parenting; and
4. Promote child development and school readiness.
