RNDC is looking for a talented and energetic assistant district manager to join our growing team. The Assistant District Manager is responsible for the field execution of sales initiatives and supporting a team of Sales Representatives by providing them training, coaching and development and sales support. This position is responsible for the execution of all sales and promotional programs in their assigned key accounts and area of responsibility.
- Have key involvement in the selection and hiring of new associates for the assigned team, develop, train, and direct sales reps to achieve sales goals and placement objectives, provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure motivation and commitment, and measure and report results; Evaluate and correct performance that does not meet expectations.
- Conduct strategic sales negotiations with key accounts, set up schedules and appointments to gain new accounts and service existing accounts, and survey market area to evaluate business trends and determine opportunities.
- Work with the District Manager and Sales Representatives to ensure effective execution of distribution, back bar presence, POS, drink features, staff training, promotions, pricing, programming, premium wells, catering, kitchen, wine list and wine by the glass.
- Ensure execution of team quotas and orders.
- Assist in the development of sales forecasts. Plans for sales activities by forecasting conditions, securing resources, and outlining strategies and objectives.
- Prepare, maintain, and communicate results, quota and goal progress and attainment.
- Manage budgets at the appropriate levels.
- Ensure all local, state, and federal laws are kept and the team is educated on ABC laws.
Bachelor’s degree in related field or 4 to 6 years equivalent experience in the hospitality or beverage alcohol industry; at least 2 years in the beverage alcohol industry; excellent communication, negotiation, and objection handling skills; a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean DMV record. Must be 21 years of age and must be willing to work where alcoholic beverages are sold and consumed.

Compensation
This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with California's state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The salary generally starts at $65,800.00 up to $93,900.00, and is a combination of base salary plus monthly earned commissions if applicable. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills and experience.
