Overview
SRI is seeking a motivated individual to perform Maintenance Sustainment Technician exclusively supporting BCT.
Bright Ceramic Technologies group delivers critical technologies to DoD based on its unique materials platform.
The BCT Maintenance Sustainment Technician is responsible for ensure daily housekeeping services are accomplished on the BCT Production Floor. The production floor is an ITAR area and BCT proprietary workflow activities are accomplished in this area.
This position is on site at SRI's Palo Alto location.

Assist the Operations Director to support Bright’s mission by providing a clean working environment.
Collection and disposal of garbage, recycling, and packing materials from the floor area.
Sweep and mop tiled floor area.
Dusting and cleaning of work surfaces and equipment.
Window washing.
Maintaining security of the property.
Support BCT Projects by providing non-technical workflow activities.
Qualifications
An ideal candidate would have a combination of the following attributes:
High school diploma or GED.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship. Either currently have or possess the ability to gain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Attention to detail.
Ability to learn or develop efficient work processes.
Self-motivated, work with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
The salary range is: $17.53-$24.17/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
