Job Abstract

Accounting Supervisor needed for a large and established company in the Natomas area. Ideal candidate would be highly motivated and detail-oriented professional who will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures. Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain financial records in compliance with internal controls policies and procedures, supporting internal audits as needed.

• Perform accounting functions, including complex account reconciliations on a monthly/quarterly basis.

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Leverage accounting systems to streamline processes.

• Participate in financial audits, interface with management, and write accounting memos as needed.

• Supervise and develop direct reports.

• Manage systems data and assess accounting systems for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of activities in general ledgers and assist in related data review and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years accounting experience in manufacturing or related fields.

• Minimum of five years of management responsibility.

• Minimum five years of accounting experience with an international company preferred.

• Strong analytical skills and understanding of GAAP.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.

• Public company experience highly preferred.

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods, extensively using a computer keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

• Willingness to work extended daily or weekend hours when necessary.

• Adaptability to frequent interruptions and changing workload priorities and maintain confidentiality.

• Comfort working under pressure without sacrificing attention to detail.

• Willingness to learn new software and information as needed.

Travel Requirements

• Limited domestic travel

Benefits

Comprehensive benefits package offered.

Pay Range: $90,000 to $130,000

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
