Job Abstract

This Nurse Manager position for S3-1 and Float Team.

The Nurse Manager is responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating the management of clinical practice activities for the patient care unit. Assumes 24 hour responsibility for staffing, fiscal management, quality outcomes and patient experience. Works collaboratively with all healthcare disciplines to meet and exceed patient care and organizational needs and expectations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of acute care Medical-Surgical nursing experience required; acute care surgical experience preferred.
• 2+ years of acute care management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong focus on patient experience required.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
• Current BLS required
• TCAR course completion within the past 3 years preferred or completion of TCAR within 4 months of transfer/hire required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required ; MSN strongly preferred.
• Med-Surg,CCRN or relevant certification preferred.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 (Commensurate with Experience)
