Job Abstract

Under the Supervision and Directions of the Perioperative AVP/CSP manager, the Central Sterile Technician performs activities and duties in decontamination, sterilization, case cart preparation, patient care equipment cleaning/distribution, restock of crash carts and other house-wide specialty carts. Must be experienced in the decontamination process and handling of major surgical instrumentation/trays including; total joint/orthopedic surgeries, robotic, neurosurgery and other specialties. Able to lift heavy trays approximately 25 pounds and push and pull heavy carts.

Requirements:

High School diploma required.

3-5 years current Central Sterile experience in a hospital setting required.

CRCST certification required.

Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

Computer skills required.

Salary Range: $24.536/Hr - $29.424/Hr (Commensurate with Experience)
