Job Overview
The Program Manager for the Office of Executive & Continuing Legal Education leads the management and execution of key projects within the OECLE portfolio and works in partnership with the Director of Program Management and other program management staff to ensure high quality delivery of cutting-edge executive education programs and nationally renowned CLE conferences. With support from other program management staff, they serve as project manager and point of contact for identified special projects.
The Program Manager supports the OECLE leadership team as a thought partner in developing and improving the office’s slate of annual CLE programming and innovative executive education offerings.
They also collaborate with the Director of Program Management and other program management staff to develop and implement new systems and processes to improve program delivery and OECLE office functions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide oversight of project management and execution of key projects under the leadership of the Director of Program Management
- Develop and lead project plans for large-scale OECLE programs, including managing technical processes in OECLE event management platform and overseeing physical logistics for programs held at campus and at off-site venues
- Coordinate and collaborate with other program management staff on project plan and execution for Executive Education programs
- Serve as a key point of contact with outside stakeholders and program partners, including conference advisory boards, Law Center faculty, conference sponsors, venue and other contractors, coordinating and updating on matters related to program content and logistics
- Join and lead on-the-ground delivery of CLE and Executive Education programs
Work Interactions
Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Program Manager has a leadership and partnership role within the OECLE and close interaction with the entire OECLE team to drive program management, planning, and execution.
In addition to communication with other staff and faculty at Georgetown, they communicate directly with clients, including but not limited to grant project partners, law firm leadership, potential and existing executive education clients, program attendees and speakers, sponsors, and vendors.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of professional experience - preferably in continuing education or higher education
- Proven ability in project management, including balancing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive professional relationships with diverse stakeholders and high-value constituencies
- A strong understanding of program/project management.
- Ability to lead and own discrete projects, and to coordinate project tasks within a larger program context
- Ability to lead and develop staff, and to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Comfort with technology and growth mindset
- Demonstrated experience executing large-scale events
Preferred qualifications
- Grants management experience
- Experience in CLE or legal education.
- Interest in instructional design, program management, large-scale event planning, and/or higher education
- Experience with Cvent or other event/learning management systems
- A “lean start-up” mindset
- A dedicated team player, flexible and creative, and able to work with a variety of personalities and constituencies to deliver excellent programs at scale
