Job Summary:
The NS&E Proposals Supply Chain Manager provides subject matter expertise during proposal development across a wide range of supply chain functions. This includes applying supply chain core processes and innovations to ensure the supply chain function is a differentiator in proposals to increase win probability for nuclear (commercial), security (federal government), and environmental (federal government) lines of business.#LI-MK1
Major Responsibilities:
Develop supply strategies to advise proposal center leads on early engagement and proposal shaping activities.
Align with Supply Chain Operations in the development of proposal support, transition operations, and project staffing.
Advise and inform the Supply Chain Functional Lead prior to prospect functional reviews.
Support the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiative by providing reports on relevant supplier engagements.
Develop small business plans and review all proposal inputs prior to submission.
Coordinate with the Commodity Group to develop Market Watch reports in support of business development meetings.
Build staffing plans for future projects in coordination with Supply Chain Operations Manager.
Provide supply chain support throughout the proposal shaping, pre-RFP, proposal, and transition phases of the prospects.
Attend meetings with NS&E clients, as required.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic NS&E suppliers and partners.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Thorough knowledge of Bechtel directions and management instructions related to proposal formulation and submissions.
Experience in the development of qualification documents, contracts, proposals, and client presentations.
Thorough knowledge of Bechtel commercial and government supply chain procedures
Skill in oral and written communication with demonstrated ability to coordinate information to reach a final document.
