We are currently seeking a Mechanic to join our Boart Longyear Sonic team based in Glendale, AZ.
Minimum Qualifications
· Typically requires a HS Diploma or equivalent
· At least 2-3 years of mechanical experience
· Knowledge in welding and fabrication skills preferred
· Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations preferred
· Knowledge of duplex and triplex mud pumps preferred
· Electrical experience or related certification preferred
· Able to list 50 pounds frequently
· Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
· Must be willing to travel to field locations across the US
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
· Must possess own tools
· Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a CDL
· Must be able to be MSHA/OSHA certified
Responsibilities
· Performing repairs on diesel powered hydraulic systems and machinery
· Diagnosing hydraulic problems in equipment with a quick turnaround for getting rigs back in operations
· Performing routine maintenance of equipment
· Working safely while meeting all compliance requirements
· Ability to work with little or no supervision
