Shape Security, Inc. seeks Manager, Product Development in San Jose, CA:
Job Duties: Develop software test-cases and testing plans for new features. Collaborate with multiple teams including Development Engineering and Product Management to ensure functionality and scalability of products and new software features. Define software automation objections (a.k.a software rules) and implement an automated testing program under currently deployed frameworks by utilizing Frontend and Backend web application and protocol testing. Debug technical issues and problems found in test cases using debugging tools. Identify gaps in existing test coverage to improve the overall testing process. Create high quality product designs at the initial stages of Development Engineering operations. Support a hardworking distributed team of software developers and build an environment underpinned by F5's core values. Be an experienced leader in architecture, code and testing patterns. Provide technical mentorship and expertise as part of our design and development processes. Collaborate with leaders in engineering and product management on roadmap, strategy, coordinating dependencies, establishing clear requirements, etc to effectively meet delivery and quality commitments. Support, mentor, and coach as well as provide professional development for team. Provide continuous feedback and opportunities for career development. Identify hiring needs and be the hiring manager for recruiting high quality engineers. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Shape Security offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: 1) Java; 2) Gerkin; 3) Shell Scripting; 4) Selenium Webdriver; 5) Mocha; 6) JIRA; 7) Git; 8) Maven; 9) ANT; 10) Cassandra; 11) Rest Assured; 12) Jacoco. Salary: $239,200.00 - $260,542.00 per annum.
