Set up and operate the power press to assemble metal products through crimping, shaping, or press fitting.
Retrieve appropriate die set from rack and transport to press setup table using a die cart.
Ensure the press operates correctly after setup completion.
Secure holding fixtures to the machine bed and adjust settings to control the ram stroke.
Align parts between dies or against machine fixtures.
Activate the machine to bend, clinch, or join parts and separate components as needed.
Conduct periodic checks to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Maintain focus on safety and physical requirements, including the ability to lift 40-60 lbs unassisted and over 100 lbs with assistance.
