Position Summary

We are seeking a candidate with a keen sense of natural curiosity who will play a crucial role in enhancing customer care and driving innovation through the application of machine learning and data science. In this position, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics to develop products that significantly improve member experiences through digital and non-digital platforms.

Build machine learning, deep learning and statistical predictive models and develop analytical approaches which form the foundation for driving patient engagement tactics aimed at improving medication adherence and patient experience.

Consults with internal clients to identify opportunities to implement data science solutions to business problems at an advanced level.

Deploy large scale machine learning and deep learning models in a production environment.

Design and execute A/B testing and Multi-Armed Bandits based experimentation.

Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur.

Effectively collaborate with Data Engineering, IT and other technical teams to onboard new data sources, create feature stores and optimize/ automate model development and deployment processes (Github, MLOps etc.)

Write complex and efficient SQL code and leverage Exploratory Data Analysis techniques to develop insights from large datasets from multiple data sources.

Collaborate effectively with business, marketing, and other stakeholders across the organization.

Present recommendations to senior staff and internal clients

Mentor peers and lead intern projects.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning and deep learning frameworks

3+Strong experience with deployment of machine learning and deep learning models in production

3+Strong experience with cloud based ML frameworks (either AWS, Azure or GCP)

3+Strong proficiency with Python and SQL

3+Strong proficiency with Github and MLOps

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders

Experience with Generative AI, LLM, and NLP is a plus

Full Stack Data Science experience is a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.

Master's degree or PhD preferred

The typical pay range for this role is:

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
