Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Change & Communication Lead is an integral role within the SAP S4 Program Team. The SAP S4 Transformation Program is an extensive multi-year project to transition the organization to the new SAP S4 Hana ERP platform.
The aim of the role is to ensure business leaders, change agents, employees and suppliers both provide input and are regularly engaged, understand the reasons and benefits of the changes, what it means for them, how they will be supported throughout the transition and the associated success factors. Additionally, this role is responsible for developing and delivering change plans and driving engaging communications to support the SAP S4 Transformation Program. The role will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders across the NBCU Finance organization, Operations & Technology and the System Integrator to ensure that activities are aligned, coordinated, and integrated.
Responsibilities:
Develop change and communication strategies and plans to support delivery of the SAP S4 Transformation Program.
Lead the Change Management Strategy Planning and Execution for the SAP S4 Transformation Program.
Provide strategic counsel to stakeholders, especially the SVP of the Transformation Office, advising them on solutions for best practice change management and communications.
Build and develop relationships with influencers and stakeholders both in and outside of the Finance Organization.
Use storytelling to support the transformation journey and illustrate key proof points.
Test and learn new change communications practices to drive innovation and engagement in conjunction with System Integrator.
Develop and deliver tailored change plans and interventions as required in conjunction with System Integrator.
Drive completion and maintenance of Business Change Impact Assessment (BCIA) and Change Action Plan (including change readiness and embedding activities).
Collaborate with all S4 Program workstreams to understand and mitigate the cumulative impact of change on individuals and teams.
Help to manage a complex stakeholder landscape to ensure understanding, buy in, and mitigate comms risk and issues to ensure a smooth path for project delivery.
Put important operational change messages into a business context and use global materials to support production of clear, simple, engaging copy and visual communications.
Track and manage key change and communication metrics.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field and minimum of 8 years of direct experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated success delivering transformation communications planning and execution for a global, matrixed organization.
Experience delivering large organizational change and developing and deploying global campaigns to a diverse audience.
Experience working in target operating model, process, and/or technology change.
Proven understanding and experience in operational model changes as well as standard business change and adoption tools.
Expertise with evaluating and measuring communications.
Demonstrated success building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships.
Exceptional verbal and written communication, story-telling skills and cultural awareness.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Characteristics:
SAP experience preferred.
Experience in the media industry preferred.
Experience in Finance would be an advantage but not a requirement.
