PositionOverview:
Siemens Mobility is seeking to hire a Team Leadfor Commercial Project Managers/Project Controllers for our Capital Sparesbusiness under the Customer Service business unit to support exciting newprojects. You will be fully accountable to the commercial and financialmanagement through the project execution as you collaborate with internal andexternal partners. You will lead a team of skilled commercial project managers,providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure projects are delivered ontime, within scope, and budget. Thisrole can be based in Sacramento, CA with a hybrid work schedule or near anotherMobility location to work a hybrid schedule. Remote work can be considered.
What yourday-to-day will look like:
- Manage and lead a team of Commercial ProjectManagers, ensuring their professional development and growth.
- Leading projects by creating bookings, settingup project WBS structure, budget, and monitoring project financial status basedon planned delivery schedule
- Perform financial planning, forecasting,controlling, and reconciliation of project cash flow and standard deviationanalysis using SAP.
- Implement and drive measures to improve projectperformance (claims management and variation management)
- Monitor and communicate trends, assessimplications, and develop practical strategies.
- Work with multi-functional teams (ProjectManagers, Legal, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, HR, etc.) to help themreach their financial goals and drive better efficiency and productivity onbids proposals and ongoing projects.
- Producing and analyzing financial reportsimpacting the Spares Business Segment performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork,and continuous improvement within the project management team.
- Serve as a point of escalation for projectissues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Prepare and present project status reports andupdates to senior management and stakeholders.
To thrive inthis role, you have:
- Bachelor's degree required,
- 5+ years of validated experience with financialplanning, accounting, and finance, with the ability to provide strategicinsight through financial metrics,
- Advanced analytical abilities, financialmodeling, strong Microsoft Excel, Knowledge of ERP systems, and strong businessmodeling skills,
- Strong leadership skills with the ability toinspire and motivate team members,
- Excellent communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at alllevels,
- Setting you apart from others would be abachelor’s degree in with a major in Finance, Economics, Business, orAccounting with SAP experience.

The base salary range for thisposition in Sacramento is $118,100-$159,600 and Pittsburgh is $$107,500-$145,000and in New York City is $128,900 – 174,000 and the annual incentive target is 10%of the base salary. The actualsalary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidateexperience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
