Participates in team building activities that contribute to the patient care, staff education, and self development. 4.1 Participates in interdisciplinary conferences 5. Maintains clinical competency to ensure that practice is evidence- based. 5.1 Attends all mandatory and continuing educational classes. Qualifications EDUCATION Graduated from an accredited LPN program. Current license in the State of Connecticut. EXPERIENCE Prefer experience in a clinical procedural area. Must complete an approved medication course and forty (40) hours of supervised medication administration including medication verification, transcription of physician's prescriptions, preparation and administration of medications in accordance with department policy within one (1) year of employment with Y-NHH. Must also demonstrate competency in designated hospital and unit PHYSICAL DEMAND Requires prolonged standing; walking; use of sight, hearing and touch; and moving/lifting patients of varying weights; CPR. Additional Information Must have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience. Must possess the relevant certifications for this role. Must be able to draw blood, access Port-a- Cath, and place PIVs.
