The Specialist is an individual contributor responsible for participating in a variety of analytical and technical assignments, problems diagnosis and solutions, documentation, implementation, administration, support and maintenance on a variety of hardware, software and network products in an information technology infrastructure environment. The role of broadly split between providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services to users of those services and project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services The successful specialist provides both on-site and remote access diagnoses and resolution of computer hardware and software problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supports, researches, analyzes, develops and documents new and existing processes, procedures and solutions to meet business needs.
- Support the development and management of relationships with vendors in concert with Manager and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process.
- Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of best-practice standards, policies, procedures, and associated training plans to ensure optimal daily operations are maintained.
- Participates in integrated systems planning and recommends new or different technologies which will enhance current systems and support overall corporate and business goals.
- Establish/maintain lines of communication with stakeholders with a view to keeping all parties informed of incidents, problems, and resolution
- Identify opportunities to improve global standardization and organizational efficiencies
- Contributes to the development of IT budgets (expense and capital) and estimates.
- Provides technical consultation to business partners and IT management to ensure development of efficient infrastructure utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of project resources as required.
- Work collaboratively with management and colleagues to identify and prioritize projects in the portfolio associated with the maintenance of existing systems, development and implementation of new systems, resolution of more complex problems and the evaluation of emergent technologies through developing business cases that include options, recommendations, cost/benefit and risk analysis,
- Researches and evaluates new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of multi-year functional roadmaps for assigned disciplines.
- Contribute to the development of overall strategy, tactics, planning and execution of initiatives to support IT services
- Document necessary technical design and analysis work, including project postmortem documentation and metric collection.
- Maintain technical documentation and process topology to ensure alignment between the business strategies and the technology roadmap

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or minimum 2 years of comparable experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience and execution (Design, Implement, Upgrade, Support, Maintain)
- MDM administration experience – Jamf, SCCM/MECM and Intune experience preferred.
- Office 365 administration experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a multi-location fast-paced environment
- Endpoint management (SCCM/Intune/AutoPilot/Jamf), O365 migrations, SSO Integrations, GPOs/AD changes or restructures, Scripting experience). A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs
- Strong communication, presentation, and solid project management skills
- Strong ability to support projects, as well as take input from others
- Strong experience with Office 365 management and troubleshooting
- Active Directory experience
- PC/Mac workstation management (remote, WFH) experience
- Scripting skills, PowerShell, Python, for automation and monitoring

Other Skills and Abilities
- Ensures the daily operation and long-term health of the end user device ecosystem including but not limited to device management tools such as Jamf, MECM and Microsoft InTune.
- Ensures health and security of over 3000 end user devices with various operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
- Expertise in MECM/Intune administration, upgrades, client agent, software center, deployment, packaging, network inventory, boundaries, distribution point, installer, and network designing.
- Expertise in Unified Endpoint Management and Mobile Device Management including device policies, certificates, and automated enrollment.
- Expertise in the Microsoft 365 Suite: Exchange, Sharepoint, Security, Compliance, Azure AD
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows, and experience in macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Works in concert with and has a strong understanding of enterprise Active Directory and Group Policy environments.
- Expertise in monitoring compliance via MECM/Intune functions like configuration items and baselines.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure ecosystem including Azure Active Directory.
- Maintains effective relationships with offshore staff, vendors, consultants, service providers and leverages these relationships to ensure best fit solutions and execution of those solutions
- Support “on call” duties on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis, working closely with the NOC teams to help remediate operations issues as necessary.
