Position Summary:
The Hospital Perioperative Assistant is responsible for supporting the patient care functions by stocking, cleaning, and set-up of operating rooms and substerile rooms; maintaining appropriate supply inventory levels; and assuring that equipment is available and in good condition when needed. In addition, assists with the transportation of patients, specimens, equipment, and supplies.

Salary Range:
Hourly Rate Minimum $22.35 Midpoint $25.09 Maximum $27.82
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and practice of infectious control techniques and medical terminology
Availability to work weekends and rotating shifts, including evenings, nights and holidays
Familiarity with various pieces of clinical equipment and supplies
Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced healthcare environment, preferably in an acute care OR setting
Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support(Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a hospital assistant
