Job Summary

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Flex/PRN Acute Care NP or PA with critical care, trauma, and/or acute care setting experience to join the Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine team at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in the mountains of Harrisonburg, VA.

Position Highlights:
?Flex/PRN
?Scheduling by mutual agreement
?16 bed critical care unit
?Responsible for preparing admissions, performing the initial evaluation and physical exams, conducting approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ordering laboratory studies and professional consultations and prescribing appropriate interventions and medications.
?Experience with respiratory intubation, placing central and arterial lines, managing ventilators are highly desirable

Qualifications:

MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required), MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - North Carolina Medical Board (NC), Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Other/National, Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
