The Role
As the Global Head of Product Management, you will have experience in re-platforms, building a team and will contribute to shaping the Product Management vision at Metagenics. Your leadership skills are pronounced, and you have a unique ability to combine commercial and technical understanding into strategy. You can translate complex relationships and solutions into easily understood, visual representations and strategies and present these internally and externally.
Specifically, you will be responsible for 1) Working closely with our third-party partner in implementing and launching a re-platform to a headless commerce architecture, 2) Building the global digital product roadmap, and 3) identifying new and innovative ways to serve our healthcare practitioners and customers.
The successful candidate will be strong a compassionate people manager, highly organized, able to manage multiple work streams, highly skilled in data driven decision making, have a high level of ownership to see things from start to finish, proactive in their execution with a strong ability to look ahead and see around corners.
Key Responsibilities
- Experienced with leadership capabilities and managing 3rd party vendor and our internal team to execute the digital insights that help guide and influence the broader Metagenics global business strategy and plans.
- Owning end-to-end digital product and technical roadmap overseeing our re-platform.
- Develop an over-arching product strategy that supports Metagenics’ corporate strategic plan, ecommerce, marketing objectives and revenue objectives.
- Oversee the development of tactical plans to execute the eCommerce and product insights that help guide and influence the broader Metagenics global business strategy and plans.
- Work closely with the other business functions to develop product management strategies by building collaborative cross-functional working relationships across the global and regional executive leadership teams.
- Ensuring our product team is working collaboratively with stakeholders to build, maintain and prioritize product roadmaps and build trust.
- Build and maintain strategic external partnerships and relationships to support the execution and delivery of Metagenics digital strategy.
- Consistently promote and model the culture and core values of Metagenics.
- Build a strong and engaged team, identify and promote high potential talent and foster positive team morale.
- Provide exceptional leadership, instilling a sense of purpose, collaboration, and respect for one another in pursuit of technical excellence.
- Ensure agile project management principles and working styles are used to execute the ecommerce strategy and optimize digital product sales.
- Responsible for ensuring team deliver strategic objectives on time and within budget.
- Execute competitive intelligence that supports better decision making for digital solutions.
- Evaluate and authorize proposed solutions and strategies, making recommendations based on market insights.
- Identify trends in the market, keep abreast of competitors, and align opportunities with digital product offerings to maximize growth.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in the Vitamins and Supplements Space and/or Health and Wellness
- Executive level, results-driven leadership experience with proven success driving and inspiring a medium sized eCommerce department
- Proven track record in product planning, defining and launching successful products, unifying product portfolios
- Familiarity with Agile Project Management methodology
Compensation
The current range for this role based out of Aliso Viejo, CA is $238,000/yr. to $272,000/yr.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

A minimum of two workdays per week are to be conducted at the Aliso Viejo office (25 Enterprise Aliso Viejo, CA 92656).
