Pay rate: $25-30/hour
Summary
The Research Associate I will support immunodiagnostic assay development following the product development process. S/he will work under the direction of the Research Scientists guidance to execute daily experiments, analyze data sets, write protocols/documents, and generate reports.
Responsibilities:
Executes assay verification and validation with the team
Participates in projects for Biomarker/IVD assay development in various disease areas.
Ensures quality in work, such as raw data records being accurate, complete, and in appropriate order, and meeting protocol and SOP specifications and GLP requirements.
Assists with the establishment of protocols and procedures.
Executes the evaluation and qualification of materials following established protocols and procedures.
Assists with identifying needs and sourcing of materials, samples, and other critical materials, as well as supplies.
Participates in daily lab operation duties
Executes other assignments by upper management as needed.
Education:
BS in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, chemistry, or science/engineering related disciplines.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of industry experience in IVD immunodiagnostics fields, or other related diagnostic fields.
Experience with ELISA, antibody/antigen selection and conjugation, protein purification, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, etc. is a plus.
Requirements:
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with biochemistry laboratory tasks
Excellent organizational skills along with strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications
Familiarity with immunoassays or automated instrument is a plus
Experience writing, reviewing, and executing standard operating procedures, protocols, and reports is a plus
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good collaborative skills within a dynamic team

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
