EDUCATION:

A high school diploma is required, associates degree is preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

General office experience and experience with office equipment and data processing systems.
Basic experience/knowledge of medical documents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Scanning of documents
Processing of medical records requests
Opening, sorting and delivery of incoming mail and inter-office mail.
Collection and processing of outgoing mail. Go to post office when necessary.
Assisting with ensuring operative reports are in accounts
Generating physician letters in EMR
Narcotic verifications
Reviewing of notes for physician signatures and superbills in preparation for billing.
Assist with obtaining hospital records and outside physician records when needed
Assist with downloading medical records from outside transcription company.

Compensation: $17.00-$19.00
