You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Must currently be enrolled in undergraduate degree program and be a rising junior or senior pursing a degree in Mechanical or Marine Systems Engineering, Applied Statistics, Data Management, or related field is preferred, not required
- Ownership and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Outstanding people skills, including a customer service mentality and emotional intelligence
- Consulting skills – Ability and confidence to boldly interact with government customers
- Creativity to overcome roadblocks and suggest realistic solutions and improvements
- Intense curiosity, ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Solid skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. (Due to clearance requirement, position may require proof of US Citizenship.)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Leadership experience
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
