CMM Quality Assurance Inspector
Title: CMM Quality Assurance Inspector Location: Cuyahoga Falls Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, Plus Profit Sharing Shift: Day Shift position
PrideStaff is conducting a search on behalf of our fast-growing Cuyahoga Falls client for an experienced CMM Quality Assurance Inspector. The CMM Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for inspecting manufactured pieces and reporting on the results. The CMM Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for the gage calibration program for this high-precision manufacturing company. The CMM Quality Assurance Inspector must have good experience with measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, depth Mics, bore gauges, etc. The CMM Quality Assurance Inspector is part of a strong engineering team committed to delivering great products and services to their defense and aerospace clients. This position is well compensated with a profit-sharing bonus, has great benefits and a good team culture.
Principal Duties and/ or Responsibilities
Creates inspection results reports
Coordinates details of assignments within the organization
Maintains gage calibration program
Job Requirements
2 – 4 years related experience or training in manufacturing, or quality
Overtime may be required
Proficiency in ability to use various types of measurement devices (e.g. coordinate measuring machines aka CMM, laser tracker, measurement arms, micrometers)
Workingknowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
Excellent problem-solver with strong quality customer-focus mindset
Vision acuity to be 20/20 with or without corrective lenses
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information
Ability to write, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
