Material Handler

M-F 5:30am-2:30pm

Our client is looking for someone who has material handling experience to become a part of our team!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Empty and clean chip trays on all machinery
• Make sure all lubricants on machinery are topped off
• Spin chips to remove oil and place in the appropriate scrap bin
• Clean machinery oil pans on a regular schedule
• Replenishing material on machinery in a timely manner
• Keep inventory well organized and clearly labeled
• Operate forklift, other lift trucks and material handler in accordance with safety standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred
• Forklift certified and capable of operating a fork truck within reasonable speeds and safely in a congested manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills needed to accurately enter data for inventory control
• Ability to perform simple mathematical equations, use a basic calculator and scales.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication, decision-making skills
