Responsibilities
Work closely with the Sr. Creative Director and fellow designers, to oversee and uphold the Lazy Dog brand(s) identity in addition to bringing in creative + digital expertise to the team.
Conceptualize, design, produce and execute innovative design concepts for a variety of assets including website graphics, social, infographics, animation, digital marketing materials, print collateral, packaging, and branding initiatives.
Participate and at times lead in creative brainstorms for design projects.
Lead the graphic design team in creating and maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all marketing channels, ensuring brand consistency.
Collaborate closely with the marketing, social, membership, product, and UX teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
Stay abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the quality and impact of design outputs.
Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, meeting deadlines and work within budget.
Present design ideas and drafts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine designs.
Oversee the final production of design assets, ensuring high quality and adherence to brand standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
A minimum of three (3) years of professional design experience, with a proven track record in a design role.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiar with web design software (e.g., Figma) a plus but not required.
Strong understanding of branding, color theory, typography, and layout principles.
Experience working with a team and managing projects.
Exceptional creativity and a strong eye for visual composition.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying ideas and concepts to non-design stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively across concurrent projects.
Portfolio submission required.
Preferred Skills
Experience in UX/UI design is a plus.
Experience with video editing and copy writing would be beneficial.
Photography and video production skills are favorable.
