As a Value Stream Foreman, you will lead and coordinate the activities within a specific value stream to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of products or services. This role involves overseeing production processes, managing a team and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance.
Responsibilities:
Value Stream Leadership:
Lead and supervise all activities within the assigned value stream, including production, quality, and maintenance.
Ensure the value stream operates in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Team Management:
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of production, maintenance, and quality professionals.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, emphasizing accountability and continuous improvement.
Production Planning and Scheduling:
Collaborate with the production planning team to develop and execute production schedules based on customer demand and inventory targets.
Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to meet production goals.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the value stream.
Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
Performance Monitoring:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the value stream and regularly monitor and analyze performance metrics.
Implement data-driven decision-making processes to identify areas for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, or 10 plus years of experience.
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong understanding of value stream mapping, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve performance.
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
