Job Abstract

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking an Information Security Manager to serve as the industry IA (Information Assurance) lead. This position will be accountable for defining, tasking, and tracking priorities to deliver results in line with our customers strategic objectives. Our ideal candidate will have IA knowledge and strong verbal and communication skills that can communicate on both a technical and project management level.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000

Travel: up to 10%

You Will:

• Lead cybersecurity risk meetings with appropriate personnel
• Develop IA vulnerability POAMs (Plan of Action and Milestones) to align critical resources against program and budget timelines, and you will develop strategies and tools to gain efficiencies in maintaining the systems security posture
• Ensure certification compliance of product procurements
• Distribute new IA requirements as they become available
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, resolve, and monitor cyber security risks
• Document and log cybersecurity risks and mitigation plans
• Oversees Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework processes
• Ensure other IT support personnel monitor all available resources that provide warnings of system vulnerabilities or ongoing attacks
• Communicates with internal and customer project leads.
• Coordinates with personnel on system security compliance and Information System Authority to Operate.
• Ensure Configuration management policies and procedures for authorizing the use of hardware/software on an IS are followed
• Coordinate Information Security Reviews, Security Inspections and Tests
• Assesses system security threats/risks
• Validates system security requirements, definitions, and analysis.
• Assists with assessment and authorization process as needed
• Tracks and validates security incidents and may be required to investigate, document, report, and provide future protective and corrective measures in response to such incidents.
• Ensure proper measures are taken when an incident or vulnerability is discovered
• Leads Leadership Briefings on system security compliance and Information System Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance, expiration and actions.
• Guides the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology to successfully implement an information technology process which shall effectively protect the element's information assets and its ability to perform its mission.
• Populates and maintains RMF databases (XACTA, eMass) with bodies of evidence to support system accreditation actions.

You Have:

• Active SECRET Clearance
• United States Citizenship
• Willingness to be onsite (up to 2 days per week); exceptions will be considered.
• Possession of and the ability to maintain a minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
• Demonstrated, recent, and relevant experience working with senior government managers of IA issues
• Excellent communication skills demonstrating an ability to communicate on both a technical and project management level
• Experience preparing formal written technical content for the development, implementation, and management of projects
• The ability to attend multiple scheduled meetings on a regular basis
• The ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• The ability to express ideas clearly and diplomatically
• The ability to work efficiently and proactively without constant supervision
• Current Security +, CISSP, CISM, or CASP Certification

Education/Experience:

• 10+ years' progressive experience as an Information Assurance Technician/Manager
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred, but experience may be substituted for degree
• Certified IAM III and/or IAT III, with recent and relevant DoD experience in IA preferred
