Job Summary: | The Program Manager manages and implements the daily activities necessary to achieve long-term goals of projects and programs across the Oklahoma State University Center for Developmental Disabilities (OSUCDD). The Program Manager works under the direction of OSUCDD Director and Associate Director(s) and in conjunction with a team of faculty, staff, and students to ensure all projects and programs align with OSUCDD’s mission and goals, adhere to best practices in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities, and meet set benchmarks and timelines for outcomes and deliverables. |
Position Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Development & Family Science or related field Four years of experience with human subject research and/or four years demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and professionals in the DDS service system. Basic understanding of services and supports available to adults with intellectual disability. Experience supervising undergraduate/graduate students. Valid Driver's License - Demonstrated proficiency of administrative/related office skills - Ability to produce written materials, displaying strong written communication skills - Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills - Ability to demonstrate confidentiality, sensitivity and ethics in all aspects - Ability to work well under deadlines, work independently and in a team environment - Ability to work with diverse staff & contacts via phone, email and in-person -Must have flexible schedule and be willing to work some evenings. -Must have personal transportation and be willing to conduct work travel within the state of Oklahoma. -Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. -Data management and data analyses skills are also required. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in human development, family science or related field - 2-5 years of progressively responsible administrative duties preferred - 3 or more years of research experience Data collection experience. One to three years of experience with human subject research and/or one to three years demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and professionals in the DDS service system. |
