The Central Operations team globally manages programs and standards across the Data Center Operations (DCOps) fleet. The functions provide operational execution support (e.g., Incident Management, Fleet Deployment, Spares, and Maintenance Planning) along with program oversight (e.g., Operational Assessments, Data Quality, Business Process support) and transformation program partnership with the field operations. The team also supports new product introductions into the fleet.
As a part of the Central Programs, Processes and Planning effort in Central Operations, you will work to enable data-driven decisions through standardized, continuous and scalable business processes and data quality improvements.The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are a diverse, upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Work with data center end users (technicians, engineers, facilities managers) to identify needs and pain points with digital content utilization and user experience improvements.
- Establish ideal states for digital content, including but not limited to procedures, manuals, and their related processes and systems as a wholistic solution, support training, and improve delivery mediums.
- Collaborate with partner teams to establish digital content related end to end processes, and roles and responsibilities.
- Develop workflows, means, and methods to improve digital content utilization effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure operations requirements are being addressed at the product development, design, construction, and closeout stages. Review progress, and sign off per acceptance criteria.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience with facilities management.
- Experience developing or building up digital content or document management systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with design, fabrication or construction projects, their services, documents, tools and processes, in high-technology projects.
- Experience in Data center operations or machine learning.
- Ability to work effectively in an incredibly fast paced, ambiguous environment, and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Excellent presentation, influencing, and strategic thinking skills.
