Student Data Specialist - District Office
8 hours per day 12 month position
Requirements / Qualifications
DUTIES: Under general direction, the Student Data Specialist maintains, prepares, processes, reconciles and verifies various data, forms, records and reports related to California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS), student information and attendance systems; performs related duties as assigned.
Data System Maintenance and Reporting Coordinates data review and analysis with various departments and site staff to meet state reporting deadlines. Enters staff CALPADS data, updates various Student Data and Programs for Integration systems. Creates student enrollment and maintains attendance for Non Public Schools’ students into the Student Information system. Prepares and submits accurate required data into the CALPADS. Collects, reviews, analyzes, and validates data for reporting purposes and for required federal and state reporting. Prepares, calculates, and reports average daily attendance (ADA) and completes the data entry into the California Department of Education’s Principal Apportionment Data Collection Software (PADC). Responsible for quarterly Enrollment reporting to Sonoma County of Education, Medical Billing Technologies (MBT), Inc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Knowledge of CALPADS data reporting systems and SIS-Powerschool preferred
*Required: Equivalent to completion of high school.
*Desirable: Associates Degree and Bilingual
*Required: Fingerprints and TB test upon initial employment
